TheTimeTv has Been Chosen by Swatch to Promote its New Series 'the Swatch Jelly in Jelly Collection'
Lugano, Switzerland

Terrestrial television is inherently local or regional. Satellite television has a limited capacity, while cable is relatively expensive. Transporting the signal via the telephone wire and use Internet to tune in is no more a technician's pipe dream: in the last few months it has been possible to receive full-screen TV on the PC or on the television set at a low bandwidth, starting at 400Kb/s.
Even better: a revolutionary technological development allows companies, organisations, institutions to develop their own television. Potential audience: the 400 million ADSL users in the world.
WBBS (World Broadband Services), an international company headquartered in Zug (Switzerland), was able to put together marketing and technology: having overcome the issues of digital compression and content management, it now can build television stations in a matter of weeks. TV content is broadcast according to a schedule (24/7 programming) but also supplied to viewers as VOD (video on demand). Channels may be subscription-based or free, but they are all managed by an impressive software.
At the beginning of April, WBBS launched TheTimeTv, the first TV channel dedicated to the world of watchmaking. It will allow all enthusiasts, collectors and fans of watches to enter their dream universe in a living, informative and complete way: more than 50 prestigious brands are already represented there. Dozens of films on brand-related events, their products, their history are also available 24 hours a day: an unique anthology of images on watchmaking, which keeps on growing.
TheTimeTv has been chosen by Swatch to promote its new series "The Swatch Jelly in Jelly collection" which is to be launched in Lugano on June 1st. In that occasion, TheTimeTv will cover the press conference, the presentation and the final concert of the "Blue Mens". Event highlights will be broadcast regularly on TheTimeTv from June 2nd to June 9th. Afterwards, they will be made available to viewers as VOD (video on demand). baobabtv.com MULTIMEDIA AVAILABLE: http://www.businesswire.com/cgi-bin/mmg.cgi?eid=5158481
