The Bank of New York Appoints Chong Jin Leow New Head of Investor Services in Asia

The Bank of New York, a global leader in securities servicing, has appointed Chong Jin Leow as managing director and head of investor services in Asia. Mr. Leow, who will be based in Singapore, will be responsible for managing the Bank's growing investor services business in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr. Leow joins The Bank of New York from State Street Bank & Trust, Singapore, where he was responsible for the combined State Street and Deutsche Bank investor services business in all Asian countries excluding Japan and Australia. He began his career with Citibank in 1981, holding various relationship management positions with the bank in Singapore, Hong Kong, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney before moving to Bankers Trust Company, Singapore in 1994 where he held senior management positions in the sales and product management areas within Global Securities Services. In 1999, he joined Deutsche Bank as head of customer management for Asia Pacific Global Securities Services.
