Cosmo Films Limited, India’s leading BOPP manufacturer and supplier today announced its audited first quarter results for the year 2006-07.
The company has registered an impressive growth in profits with net profit after tax of Rs 613 Lacs as compared to Rs. 41 lacs for the same period last year.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sushil K. Mittal, Executive Director & CEO, Cosmo Films Limited said, “We are very pleased with our 36.57% percent growth in Net Sales. “Our focus on Thermal lamination film exports has paid rich dividends with the company registering spectacular growth”, he added.
F.O.B. value of exports has increased from Rs. 3351 Lacs in the previous year to Rs. 6061 Lacs in the corresponding quarter which shows an increase of more than 80 %.
The annualized EPS stands at Rs 12.60 compared to Rs 0.96 for corresponding results last quarter.
