Monster Introduces Magic Search – an Out-of-the-Box Resume Search Product for Employers

Monster India today announced the launch of Magic Search, which redefines the paradigm of how employers conduct resume searches today. Magic Search combines the simplicity of the best in class search product and the accuracy that is demanded by the recruitment professionals to deliver what is an exciting innovation in e-recruitment.

About how Magic Search is different from the current resume search, Vikas Agrawal, Vice President – Technology, Monster India explained, “In the current scheme of things, recruiters search by over 15 parameters which are marked by fields. However, we learned from our research that over 80% of the searches done by recruiters are dictated by keywords. This insight was the genesis of Magic Search which is nothing but a simple keyword text box where the recruiter can type anything to get the most accurate resume results.”
