'Made in Germany' - this is the name of the new business section in the 'Germany - Land of Ideas' media service for international journalists at www.mediaservice.land-of-ideas.org. This globally unique service is offered by the 'Germany - Land of Ideas' initiative of the German government and German business and created by journalists for journalists. The media service contains a far-reaching spread of themes and pictures includes approximately 1,000 high-quality journalistic articles and pictures about 36 different countries and all the host cities of the Football World Cup, all put together by the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa), Germany's biggest news-agency.
The new 'Made in Germany' section covers every aspect of the German economy. It is created in conjunction with the Federal marketing agency 'Invest in Germany'. The service includes reports on Germany's most pioneering products and export successes, portraits of industries and companies, interviews and portraits of key figures within German industry, as well as facts & figures, background information and informative graphics relating to Germany as a business location.
All of the material - text, images and TV footage - is free of charge to media representatives and royalty-free. The service is continually being updated and extended.
