who started out as a media planner in Enterprise Nexus has certainly come a long way. John Abraham is the latest face of
celebrity endorsement in Indian advertising. Samsung, Titan Fastrack, Wrangler and Yamaha are already in his bag. Many more
may well be on their way.
Abraham has become hot property because a number of his early film releases have attracted attention: Jism, Dhoom and Kaal,
among them. His latest brand victory has been the Samsung as its brand ambassador for its SGH C210 colour phone. According to
HC Ryu, director, telecom, Samsung, "John is trendy and cool and his youthful appeal will be leveraged to bring out the style
and functional superiority of Samsung mobiles." Ajoy Chawla, business head, accessories and licensed brands at Titan, had
expressed pretty much similar sentiments about Abraham and Fastrack while introducing the new brand ambassador to the
