Cutting the costs

ublicis Groupe�s Zenith Optimedia has cut down both its 2005 and 2006 global ad spend projections. Worldwide ad expenditures this year will increase 4.7 per cent to approximately $404 billion, compared to an earlier projected increase of 5.4 per cent. In 2006, spending will up by about 6 per cent to $428.4 billion, down slightly from the previously projected rise of 6.5 per cent.

Meanwhile internet ad spending is on the increase - at the expense of TV expenditure, which has levelled off at about 38 per cent.... more
