Reality TV, real life drama and documentaries in other words, however, remains a fledgling genre on Indian television as audiences remain fixated with soaps and dramas. But Reality TV, a 24-hour channel launched earlier this year in India by the UK-based Zone Vision, is looking forward to turning "action-packed, adrenaline- and emotion-filled programming" into mainline television.
