here is no disputing the fact that Lakm� Lever is a leader in skincare, colour cosmetics and beauty services. The company recently pulled off a surprise by launching Hairnext, a range of styling products, specialist shampoos and conditioners. Why did Lakm� jump into the hair grooming business? That question becomes more relevant considering that parent company Hindustan Lever Ltd has such a good grip on the hair care market. Moreover, is there space in the market for a new brand?
