Musical mobile

pple has introduced the first mobile phone with a capacity to use the iTunes software to function as a personal music player. It is named the ROKR. The software would provide the user with access to the vast library from the range of the down-loadable cards available to all the iPod owners. Made by Motorola, the ROKR will be sold exclusively through the Cingular Wireless web site and through the Cingular wireless stores. The phone has been predicted to be a hit in the upcoming holiday season.,br> The white color candy bar cell phone resembles more a cell phone rather than the distinctly designed iPod music player with its circular dial. The ROKR has a button labelled with a musical note for controlling the music. It has a capacity for 100 songs, which can be downloaded from any computer, which is equipped with the iTunes software - the same software that is used for iPods.

The ROKR is priced at $249 and includes stereo phones as well as built-in dual-stereo speakers. The music pauses by itself when the phone receives an incoming call. The phone user can also listen to songs when they are text messaging or taking photographs. ... more
