Just the right mix

illsbury is trying to give the word 'diversity' a new meaning. It has introduced a new Variety Mix which can be used to spice up anything - from dosas to dhoklas, even murukkus. That is why Pillsbury calls it 'diversity in a pack'.

The brand promise is 'Empowering Moms', and this handy blend gives some much-needed respite from hours of fermentation and other processes that home-made mixes entail. All that needs to be done is to add water to the paste. Even salt is pre-added in the mix. The target audience? "The product is targeted towards urban homemakers and moms. The mix will help them to cater to multiple tastes in the family while offering her convenience without compromise," says Gayatri Yadav, marketing director, General Mills.... more
