oca-Cola is moving its $150 million-plus (Rs 675 crore) North American flagship advertising account to Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Oregon from Berlin Cameron & Partners, New York. The move comes as Berlin's parent network, Red Cell United, part of the WPP Group, competes for a hotly contested global advertising assignment for the flagship brand as one of two finalists with Wieden.

In 2003, Steve Heyer, then president and chief operating officer of Coca-Cola Co, shifted the entire Coca-Cola Classic assignment to Berlin Cameron from longtime incumbent Interpublic Group of Companies' McCann Erickson, New York. ... more
