recent ad by Apple is blurring the thin line between imitation and outright lifting of ideas. The ad in question features American rapper Eminem silhouetted against an orange background, dancing to hip-hop music. A similar ad was run by Lugz shoes three years ago.

The similarity was first pointed out by popular blog, Adfreaks.com. It brought to light that the new iPod ad had the same look and feel as the one by Lugz which ran from August to December 2002. ... more
