The Indian Postal Service (Assam Circle), in a joint venture with Guwahati-based Green Gold (Assam) Pvt Ltd, recently introduced the Tea Mail service. The service, which will sell the Korangini brand of tea, will be available to all Assam tea lovers all over India.

Says Debajit Chaliha, director, Green Gold (Assam) Pvt. Ltd: "It is our belief that all Indians do not have access to genuine garden fresh Assam tea. Tea Mail will use the vast network of the Indian Postal Service to offer fresh Assam tea to every corner of the country at reasonable rates."
