ercedes-Benz E-class sedans have begun rolling out of DaimlerChrysler's manufacturing facility in Beijing. The facility is part of the 30-year joint venture between German DaimlerChrysler AG and Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company (BAIC).

The E280 and E200K sedans are available for sale at prices of 620,000 yuan (US $77,000) and 525,000 yuan (US $65,000) respectively. The company expects to sell 900 Mercedes-Benz E-class sedans by the end of the year.
