ero Honda has come up with a unique way of pampering women. The company followed up the launch of Pleasure, its first scooter for women by setting up Just4her, the first exclusive showroom for women customers in Delhi. It plans to come up with 22 more exclusive Just4her showrooms and workshops across the country.

Why did Hero Honda launch a scooter and that too for women? Market research, say company officials, suggested that there was a need for a user-friendly two-wheeler. "We noticed an ever-growing customer base of urban, upwardly mobile women in the age group of 18-25. Additionally, Hero Honda has a strong customer base of over 14.5 million. The preferred second two-wheeler in these households is usually a scooter. So here again, we had a gap to fill.... more
