ext Gen Publishing is living up to its promise (The Brand Reporter, August 16-31, 2005). Recently it launched UK's largest selling computer magazine, Computeractive, in India. The company is promoted by Forbes Gokak and HDFC. With this, the total number of special interest magazines brought out by Next Gen has gone up to five (including the Forbes Yellow Pages).

Why another computer magazine in a market that is cluttered with so many? "In today's advanced and constantly changing technological world, computer users are inundated with a plethora of choices. Computeractive helps make the optimal buying decision and increases overall productivity through self-learning workshops and features. This magazine simplifies technology, makes it easy to understand, and puts the fun back in computing," says Amit Tewari, product manager, Next Gen Publishing.
