The colour of an idea

he idea behind TVS Motor Company's Make a Splash contest for the Scooty Pep was to kill two birds with one stone. The contest, a creative outlet for today's youth, would also give TVS a clue about the colours and styles that its target group really hankered after.

The contest conducted at Caf� Coffee Day outlets across the country and also promoted through the internet invited people to send in colours or designs that could be used on the Scooty Pep. With nearly 7,000 'serious' entries, it did manage to make a fair splash. Last month, Dehradun-based Pooja Badola drove away with the prize - a Scooty Pep, presented to her by the scooterette brand ambassador, Preity Zinta.... more
