'Oo la la la la lae o'. For those who didn't get it yet, that's Kingfisher's signature tune. The UB Group brand's new TV ad campaign for bottled water revolves around this popular tune. Kingfisher signed on two cricketers from the English team Andrew Flintoff a.k.a Freddie and Michael Vaughan as the new set of brand ambassadors for the ad films.
The TVC starts off with Vaughan and Flintoff hitting the showers after a game. Flintoff starts singing the Kingfisher tune, but gets the last words wrong. Vaughan responds by telling him that he's messed up and hums it with the right words. Freddie gives it another shot, but gets it wrong again. Vaughan gives up, but Freddie tries to convince him that he can do it, but in vain. A super appears over Flintoff with the words: 'New Kingfisher Fan'. Another one appears over Vaughan saying, 'True Kingfisher Fan'. ... more
