t's a season of spoofs on the idiot box. There's Tedhi Baat on Sahara's Filmy which takes off on Prabhu Chawla's Seedhi Baat. And now comes the completely wacky Rendezvous with Semi Girebal on MTV, which takes off on the lady in white.

In fact, MTV has gone to great lengths with its show that imitates Star World talk-show host Simi Garewal, so much so that even the timings match. Channel surf on Sunday nights at 9.30 pm and you are likely to encounter the lady in white twice. There's the original on Star World.
