n its latest report (Mobile Television for Marketers: Monetizing the Smallest Screen), research firm eMarketer predicts that there will be more than 100 million people subscribing to mobile video broadcasts by the end of 2009. eMarketer has come to this conclusion after a comprehensive study of global markets, surveys and information shared by content providers.
According to John du Pre Gauntt, senior analyst and author of the report, "What will be crucial to marketers is trying to determine whether mobile TV represents a sub-market or the next huge mass market for mobile services.
