he hunt is on for the next great wildlife filmmaker. Animal Planet has announced a reality show where aspiring wildlife filmmakers will get up close and personal with animals as they learn the essential skills and challenges involved in creating a natural history documentary.

Entries have been invited from budding filmmakers to take part in Unearthed, a four-part reality series to be shot in Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa in July 2006. Six short-isted contestants will be helped by wildlife filmmakers Lyndal Davies and Andrew Barron to shoot and edit their films.
