The portal was launched in 2000, providing information on simple solutions for the home. It also presents products from sponsor brands and sends out interactive newsletters to members on easy home projects.
Beginning this month, Home Made Simple will be broadcast on Sunday afternoons on The Learning Channel (TLC, http://tlc.discovery.com). The 13-episode reality show will feature a team of guest experts working with viewers who nominate a friend they feel is deserving of a visit from Home Made Simple.
