t is India's largest-selling magazine. It is also, according to NRS 2005, the second-most widely-read one. So why did Saras Salil go in for a makeover? Starting this month, the Hindi fortnightly newsmagazine will sport a new design and a new price tag.
"Each publication needs to change with time. Earlier the font was thick, now it is thinner. We have given more clear spacing and you'll see much more whiteness in the background, giving the magazine a polished look," says Anant Nath, director of the magazine publishing company, Delhi Press Patra Prakashan (DPPP).... more
