Graduating from IIM Ahmedabad in 1987, Srivastava started as a planner with Lintas. A year later, he was moved on deputation to Hindustan Lever Ltd. "In Lever, I was handling Fair & Lovely exports - they were launching in Singapore and Malaysia during that period," he reminisces.
