fghan Telecom got its TV commercial made in India - O&M; Delhi being the agency that bagged the account. Tilda, a food packaging company based in the UK, got Lowe India to do an advertising campaign for its products. These are just two instances of Indian ad agencies doing work for foreign brands.

Outsourcing may not be such a new idea in other areas, but why are foreign brands looking to India to outsource their advertising? Is it the cost factor? Not really, going by what Pranesh Misra, chief operating officer of Lowe India has to say. "In the case of Tilda, they are specifically looking at expatriates," he says.
