he Trojan Horse is associated with the epic tale of the ancient siege against Troy. But in computing, it is a malicious programme that masquerades as a benign programme. Unlike viruses, Trojan horses do not replicate. However, they may carry viruses as part of their payload, which in turn can replicate.
