nother bloodbath is expected for many newspapers when the Audit Bureau of Circulations in the US releases the fall newspaper circulation FAS-FAX report in the coming few weeks. Industry sources say they anticipate that for the six months ending September 2006, top-line daily circulation will fall roughly 2.5 per cent while Sunday will drop approximately 3 per cent.
Major metros are expected to be blamed most for the decline in numbers. Sources suggest that some major papers that were hard hit in the recent past are most likely to go down again.
