here is nothing new about dating shows, but lately they are becoming more brazen and are giving participants more leeway. MTV's new dating show, provocatively named GPL, follows a similar groove.

GPL stands for 'Gehre Pyaar pe Laath'. Each episode opens up with three people - two guys and a girl or vice versa who go out and spend an entire day together. Starting out as a blind date with twists on the way, the mission for the two contenders is to destroy the rivals date but ensure that their own date goes smoothly. As the day passes, the two guys or the two girls turn on their charm to woo their date. Every episode will be shot in different locations like amusement parks, shopping arcadesand sometimes in a sophisticated restaurant.
