ndia has always been a preferred destination for tourists from the West. Many factors draw them. It is cheap. The mysticism, history and the warmth of the people and the climate too have always invited a steady flow of international tourists.
For some time now, the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has been promoting India as a tourist destination very aggressively with the Incredible India campaign. Lately, it has tied up with CNN International and produced a series of 60-, 45- and 30-second advertorials to promote Indian tourism worldwide. The clips are now being aired on CNN International and will continue till March 2007. Bang Productions of Singapore has been commissioned to produce the series for MoT.... more
