ately, television screens are teeming with telecom and mobile phone ads, but only a few of them stand out. The new Reliance Mobile phone ad is one that falls in the latter category.

With its staccato shots and a deep baritone voiceover, the ad creates quite a contrast in itself. It highlights Reliance's latest offering � 2,000 minutes of free talktime. The film starts with a close up shot of a clock and then in quick succession goes on to show a man sitting around in his living room, while the hands of the clock move swiftly, signifying the passing of time while a male voiceover says that a lot can be done in 2,000 minutes (33 hours). ... more
