ord India, which wheeled into the Indian market in 1995, has introduced CarGainz, a new customer loyalty programme. Under this scheme, the company will reward customers for the servicing and maintenance of Ford cars and the purchase of accessories from the companys authorised dealers and service centres. The programme will also reward customers who trade back their old Ford car for a new one. The programme can be availed of at all authorised Ford dealerships across the country. Ford currently has 90 dealership outlets in 71 cities and plans to increase it to 105 outlets in 86 cities by the end of the current year.
Every time a customer sends a car for service or repair, purchases spare parts, car accessories or the extended warranty package, service points are awarded to him in proportion to the amount he spends. When a Ford vehicle owner follows the companys prescribed periodic maintenance service, additional bonus points are awarded. Loyalty points are earned for continued ownership and can only be redeemed at the time when a Ford owner exchanges an old car for a new one.
