nPerson Technology from Maryland-based web company Rovion (www.rovion.com), makes pop-up ads with people. Case in point - teen celebrity Hilary Duff was in a video ad on Seventeen.com. The ad was an embedded in-person promo for her new fragrance, and also encouraged viewers of Seventeen.com to surf other portions of the site.
