TI is taking banking to another level, at least for its prime customers. The initiative was triggered by UTI Bank, with three new priority bank branches at Pune, Mumbai and Kolkata. Besides providing banking and investment services, these branches also bring lifestyle facilities to customers.
The 'boutique bank' branches are targeted towards High Networth Individuals (HNI). These branches are 7,000-10,500 square feet in size, with amenities such as meeting rooms, where customers can have banking and investment-related discussions with the relationship managers. There is a business centre with additional services like telephone and fax, where outstation customers can conduct business meetings. An 'Experience room' is used for workshops, events and co-promotional activities. There is also a play area, complete with toys and books for children.
