fter the successful installation of single-frequency radio sets in taxis and auto rickshaws across cities, Big FM has taken its out-of-home promotion quite seriously. It recently installed mini studios called 'Big Booth' at the Lakme Fashion Week, 2007, held in Mumbai.
"It is almost the size of a phone booth," says marketing head Anand Chakravarthy. The RJ sits in the booth and broadcasts the shows live. "People can come inside the 'Big Booth' and watch how programmes are broadcast live. Apart from this, they can participate in various contests and request songs as and when they pass by the booth," he adds.... more
