ven as cola giants decide to abandon their five rupee affordability strategy and hike prices (if some pink paper reports are to be believed), FMCG company Nestl� India has "rationalised the prices of Kit Kat to align them to market preferences and consumer convenience". The brand is now available at Rs 5 (against Rs 6 earlier) for the two-finger pack and Rs 10 (against
Rs 12 earlier) for the four-finger pack. Though the new prices were introduced in some southern markets as far back as October 2003, they were extended nationally only in June 2004.
