nil Ambani-led Reliance ADAG's logo was unveiled in 2006. Mukesh's Reliance Digital, a consumer durables retailer, was launched weeks ago. But the logos have similar colours. Design professionals debate the coincidence.

Firstly, I really do not see any visual similarity between the two logos. I feel the forms in red and blue used in the �A� of the Anil Ambani ADAG logo bears no visual recollect if compared to the red flame within the blue swirl of the Mukesh Ambani logo. The fact that neither logo is visually appealing to me seems the only strong similarity.

Yes, red and blue are two prominent colours that have been used in both the Reliance Digital and the Reliance ADAG logos. But a logo basically stands on two things, the shape of the logo and the colours used. So if it is only the colours that are common, I don�t think it will cause confusion in the minds of consumers, which is the case here.... more
