The tussle for leadership � poor monster.com, the other contender, got left out � drew attention to mass recruitment. Annual revenue for online and print recruitment is estimated at about Rs 700 crore. But the market seems to be worth much more. Info Edge (India) Ltd, which owns naukri.com, had a turnover of Rs 84 crore in 2005-06, and currently has a valuation of about Rs 2,000 crore. That explains why TimesJobs, owned by Times Business Solutions, itself a part of the Rs 3,000 crore Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL), would love to own the category.... more
