The technology that allows for these 'flowing narratives' is a simple, clever mashup (digitally mixed things). In the SkyMapping application, as this mashup is called, Google Maps have been mixed with html and code, to allow embedded links, speech bubbles, markings and so on, that can be programmed to tell any story, occurring anywhere.
