A Fresh Approach

ewlett-Packard (HP), looking forward to further differentiate between its parent brand (HP Pavilion) and its acquired brand (Compaq Presario), has unveiled a new brand identity for the latter.

The Compaq word-mark has been given a face-lift. It now has a logo which features a combined C and Q. The logo is completely in sync with Compaq's Kal Tumhara Hai (Tomorrow belongs to you) campaign. According to Shuchi Sarkar, head, marketing (personal systems group), HP India, the new identity also signifies HP's philosophy of being futuristic and innovative. ... more
