ne of the most interesting things about interviewing a creative person, is the wonderfully anecdotal nature of their lives. Their experiences ensure that they lead more colourful, and by implication richer, lives by far, than the rest of us. Imagine for instance, leaving the country as the creative director of a network in the the Gulf, only to find that the network did not exist and coming back six months later with only Rs 200 in the pocket, and a wife and child to take care of.
Colourful, would perhaps not even approximate the description of the experience. Yet, it is incidents like these that make Prathap Suthan, arguably one of the most flamboyant people in advertising.
