pider-Man has made history in India twice now. The first time was in May 2002, when Sony Pictures� feature film adaptation of the Marvel Comics superhero, released simultaneously all over India with 250 prints. That�s the kind of scale generally reserved for Hindi blockbusters of the Shah Rukh Khan kind.

Spider-Man returned distributor and marketer Columbia Tristar�s faith in his appeal and the film made Rs 5.3 crore in the opening weekend.
