aving closed a deal to add News Digital Media to its existing network, Google is to run text based advertisements on websites of papers such as The Australian, The Herald Sun ,The Daily Telegraph and a few other papers.

The deal will remain valid for a few years, warranting substantial earnings through the pay per click model, to be shared by Google and News Digital Media. Income generated from paid Google search advertisements featured on these sites will also be shared. In May, Google had announced that it would run advertisements on Fairfax websites.
