he grew up in Mumbai and he in Kerala, but met in National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. Designer duo Rachna Rastogi, 36 and KK Muralidharan, 39 then went on to set up their own studio in 1997, XHeight Design Associates.

The two friends would have created the look and feel of almost every country in the world for Indian ads. From the Chinese market look for a Chlormint ad, the Italian bakery for the Hide n' Seek Milano ad to the Arabian look in the 7UP ad. And all this in empty studio spaces. "A back-handed compliment for us is when people call the production house to ask them, which location was the film shot in," smiles Rachna.... more
