A new snack variant, the environmentally chip will be created in the process. Like most companies, Pepsico is striving to establish its ecofriendly credentials reiterating their commitment to the global green revolution. The change in operations would result in taking its Casa Grande plant off the power grid and run it almost on renewable fuels and recycled water. Pepsico has identified a marketing opportunity in sync with its environment friendly processing initiative. The company intends to advertise that its popular sun chips are made using solar energy.
