Priced at Rs 4.5 lakh for the GL version and Rs 4.75 lakh for the GLS (a premium GLS ABS version is available for a little over Rs 5 lakh), this premium hatchback will have to compete with the Opel Corsa Sail and Tata Motors� Indigo Marina on size and the lower priced Maruti Esteem, Tata Motors� Indigo and the Ford Ikon on price.
Hyundai Motors India (HMI) is certainly not unaware of the challenges; but it has its eyes trained on a certain type of consumer.
