an the new, improved, more powerful version of the Honda CR-V put a brake on Ford Endeavour�s progress? The new CR-V comes with a 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine as opposed to a 2-litre heart in the older version. It also sports a new 5-speed transmission, beige interiors and leather upholstery.

Since it was launched in July 2003, Honda Siel India Ltd (HSIL) has offered only an automatic version for the CR-V. It has now introduced a manual version at Rs 14.57 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi), which is about the same price as the automatic version earlier. And the automatic now comes for Rs 15.57 lakh, about Rs 1 lakh more than before. ... more
