The Solae Company, a joint venture between DuPont and Bunge, recently launched Soy day, a textured soy protein-based product, for the Indian market. Soy day is available in three variants - chunks, granules and flakes - priced at Rs 15 for a 100-gm pack. Soy day will be available initially in three cities - Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore - followed by a gradual roll out across other markets. Sanjeev Chaudhry, area director, South Asia, and country head, India, The Solae Company, says, "Soy day will help consumers connect food choices with lifestyle and taste."
