sk anyone around about Sandeep Goyal, and the one thing you�re most likely to here about the veteran adman is that he is virtually unputdownable. And it is his ability to land on all fours and come out of any situation stronger that sets Goyal apart from the rest of the pack. Which is why, when Goyal announced the creation of Dentsu Communications - a 74:26 JV between Dentsu Inc of Japan and Goyal�s Mogae Consultants - in October 2003, no one was taken by surprise. After the setback at ZEE Telefilms (where he had a stint as CEO), a coup of this sort was the expected thing from Goyal.

What was not expected, however, was the aggression with which Goyal grew the Dentsu brand in India through Dentsu Communications and Dentsu Marcom over the year 2004. In one year, the agency has picked up an amazing array of clients: Toyota, Honda, Sony Ericsson, Canon, Yamaha, TATA Corporate, TATA Tea, HDFC Standard Life, Jindal Steel, Nissin Foods, Blaupunkt and DS Group, to name a few.
