� NDTV Profit overtakes CNBC TV18
Two headlines in the newspapers recently; the message loud and clear: The battle in the business news space is on in right earnest. And the two media houses at the centre of the storm - CNBC, which launched Hindi channel Awaaz on January 13, and NDTV, which unveiled English channel Profit on January 17 - will leave no stone unturned to get an early advantage. NDTV claims that in the first week of its launch (January 17-23), the reach of Profit was 5.9 million, which was higher than CNBC�s 4.8 million in the same week.
